Well, after reading lots of really awesome applications for my brand new SpokesMOM program, and considering each and every one of your potential referral base, as well as ideas for promoting Lindsey Turner Photography, I have finally chosen the three ladies who stood out in their own special way. I am so excited for how this program is going to impact the number of families in networks all over Charlotte that come into contact with LTP through these three moms. And I’m also super excited to start things off with these awesome ladies by gifting them with a FREE classic photo session with ME! This will provide the images I will use to create their custom referral cards and purse sized brag books, and that they will use to wallpaper their Facebook pages, Pinterest boards, blogs, etc. This is going to be so much fun! These three ladies will serve as SpokesMOMs for LTP for the duration of 2012 and will have the potential for earning even more free stuff with each person they refer!! Cara Stovesand
Cara describes herself as “the type of person who will, without hesitation, recommend a product or service if I believe in it. I believe in your work. As a new stay at home mom, I am constantly on the hunt for new groups to become involved with to meet new people….I would be so happy to promote something wonderful, something lasting, and something beautiful.” With a baby at home, she is constantly in contact with other moms through a Baby Boot Camp group and My Gym classes. She is also involved in church and small groups and active on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. When asked what makes Lindsey Turner Photography unique and how would she share it with her friends, this is what Cara had to say: “It’s beautiful and creative, yet timeless and simple.It’s the photos you carry in your wallet and shamelessly show anyone and everyone. It’s the photos that capture the personality and innocence of little angels. It’s the photos you send all your friends on holiday cards each year. It’s art.” Wow. I can’t wait for Cara’s friends and family to see her sweet family captured by my lens!!
Melissa Miller
Melissa says that she has been using Lindsey Turner Photography images for her Facebook profile for two years now!! “I still get complimented on our Christmas card from 2010. I also am very into promoting women and their businesses. I am self employed myself, so I am always networking for myself and others.” I am blown away by reading how Melissa described what makes LTP unique. I have a hard time accepting such kind remarks!! Melissa states: “I am bonkers over you and your photography skills Lindsey!! Your eye for catching the moment, the expression, the colors, and the feeling is like none I’ve ever seen. I feel so lucky that Charlotte has someone like you! I love the locations that you use…so simple and yet so ideal for a perfect moment. Our first family session I was blown away by your ability to find an un-assuming spot and realize that it would make the picture amazing. Your pictures are not forced or campy, which is what I find in a lot of photographers who shoot children and families. You are amazing at getting the children to warm up immediately and respond to what you want them to do. You also have amazing products to offer, especially your Christmas cards. You make doing cards way too easy!!”
Melissa is very involved in the mental health/medical field in Charlotte. She is president of Mecklenburg Psychological Association, Social Media chair for the Charlotte Chapter of the International Academy of Eating Disorders for Professionals, and she works at Levine Children’s Hospital’s Teen Health clinic Center for Disordered Eating. “Professionally, I am always talking about kids, families, and I have LTP pictures in all of my offices!“ Her kids are at Trinity Presbyterian Weekday School, they are active at the YMCA, and are now active at The North Carolina Dance Theater. Congrats Melissa!! Looking forward to another fabulous year of working with your family!
Megan Walsh
Megan says, “I AM an ideal SpokesMom for Lindsey Turner Photography already!!! I love your work, I love your style, I love your product, I love your beliefs, I love your dedication, I love your way with children, I love your faith in Him, I love being in your presence! Your talent is amazing, your photos are truly gifts that I treasure!! I have always and will continue always to shine light on your skills and promote you and your business.” When I read the way Megan described the uniqueness of LTP, I honestly had tears in my eyes. This is what I pray when I talk to God about my business. I pray that He uses me to bring joy to the families that I come into contact with; that He takes my business where HE wants it to go; and that all that I do be for His glory. This is what Megan had to say: “Your Faith, your approach, your instant comfort with your clients, your warmth, your natural love for people – all shine through that lens and make whoever you are shooting, a better subject. Your ability to capture the best in each of us is amazing. When describing you, and I have many times already, I would again explain who you are as a person, and how special you make the session and easy going you are. Your work in my home, says enough about your product, but spending time with you is how they will truly know how special of a photographer and person you are!”
Megan is involved in 3 different grade levels of moms through her children. She is a room parent for 1st grade, 4th grade and on the PTA board for the elementary school. She is involved with Elevation Church, boy scouts, soccer teams, gymnastics groups, swim teams, and the YMCA!! Whew….I’m exhausted just thinking about all that!!
Wow. What can I say. I feel so overwhelmingly blessed by each of these, as well as all the other applications that came in. This has been a fun process and I just have to say Thanks. Thanks to all of you. Thanks for the way you make my heart warm up hearing you talk about what makes Lindsey Turner Photography unique, special, and different. Thank you for supporting me. And thank you for providing the biggest dose of encouragement I could ask for as I kick off another year in business!! This fifth year of LTP could be the best yet!!
