***UPDATE: this workshop filled up in less than 12 hours. I am currently working on details for another workshop this spring. The information will be posted on my Facebook Page first (become a fan on the top left of this page!) and then here on the blog****
I am so excited to announce the plans for the next LTP Workshop! I know so many of you received new DSLR cameras for Christmas and are dying to learn how to actually use this nice piece of equipment you now own! This workshop is designed for those of you who have nice DSLR (ie., Canon Rebel, Nikon D40) and are stuck on the “Green Box” setting! I will teach you and show you how to set your camera to manual and shoot away! You’ll be amazed at the difference in your images!! Here are the details:
Sunday, February 6th
1:30-3:00
Highland Creek
cost: $50
We will have some time for teaching, practicing, Q & A, and more practicing! I will have models available for you to practice on…I don’t really think me standing in front of you makes for any good photo opps!
I will also have some snacks and drinks available as well, so come hungry! The ONLY pre-requisite for the workshop is that you actually READ THE MANUAL that came with your camera. I will not have the time to go over basic controls for each person’s camera, so please come with a general idea of how to use the functions and access menus. Also, bring the manual with you to the workshop so you can refer to it if needed!
The registration will be capped, so if you’re interested, PLEASE let me know as soon as possible! you can email me at Lindsey@LindseyTurnerPhotography.com to secure your spot. Registration fee for this workshop will be $50 and is required to reserve your spot.
**this workshop is in no way designed to prepare you to start your own photography business and is only for those wanting to take better non-professional pictures.

Hi-I am on your fan page on Facebook and saw your post about a workshop that you are having in February. I recieved a NikonD3000 for Christmas (yay!) and I am interested in signing up for the workshop. I wasn’t sure how to get a hold of you to register, but I would deffinitly like to put my name on the list if there are still spots open!
