LTP SpokesMOM 2012 – Charlotte Childrens Photography

I would like to introduce you to one of my 2012 LTP SpokesMoms!!!  I got to hang out Melissa Miller and her beautiful family last weekend on a gorgeous, sunny, 60ish degree day.  We even found some cherry trees in full bloom to play under!  I love how natural this family is in front of my camera:)  Melissa is going to be a perfect SpokesMom for Lindsey Turner Photography this year!  This was her family’s FREE session for being chosen as a SpokesMom, and she’ll also receive some fun products for FREE that she will use to share her pictures with friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, etc!!  So fun!

Fancy little toddler! Charlotte Chidlren’s Photography

Baby brother Grant, 6 days new! Charlotte newborn photographer

I love having  a front seat to watching families grow!!  This afternoon I got to meet the newest addition to one of my favorite families!  I have photographed this family a handful of times over the past 2 years and now I get to watch their newest little one grow!  Baby Grant was a perfect little model for me and so super sleepy!  I loved snuggling him.  Enjoy this sneak peek!!

Before and After, Charlotte newborn photography

I am often asked about the processing that I do on my images after a photo session.  I have tried to develop a brand and a style that holds true to the idea that “less is better”.  In my opinion, the less processing that I do to an image, the better it is, the more natural it looks, and the more pleasing it is to me.  Over the last 4 years, I have learned how to master capturing exactly what I want to in my camera so that after a session, there is very little left to do.  I have learned how to find the right light, determine proper exposure, compose for the crop that I want, gain a super fast shutter speed which produces super sharp images, and do the most that I can on the front end to ensure the image is exactly what I wanted.  I typically just do a little color boosting or sharpening for web on most of my images and that’s it.
